“Sente a importância de ser feito à imagem do Senhor?”

Li a seguinte pergunta hoje: “Sente a importância de ser feito à imagem do Senhor?

Comecei a imaginar o que é ser feito à imagem do Senhor. Lembrei do que diz na palavra “Façamos o homem à nossa imagem, conforme a nossa semelhança" (Gênesis 1:26), e assim Deus fez.

Percebi o plano do Senhor, querendo mostrar para o homem a importância de sua habitação. Na Bíblia podemos ver a riqueza de detalhes e a perfeição da sua habitação: o tabernáculo.

A glória do Senhor enchia o tabernáculo, e o Senhor mostrou detalhadamente a Moisés a riqueza onde ele habita ­- um santuário rico por sua presença. A arca, o propiciatório, a mesa, o candelabro, as cortinas, a coberta de peles, o véu das colunas, o átrio, o altar, os utensílios, sim tudo perfeito!

Podemos dizer que quando Salomão então constrói o templo, Deus tinha como propósito de mostrar ao seu povo que sua habitação não era uma tenda, um tabernáculo, um templo, algo santificado para ele, mas imóvel, algo parado (veja 2 Crônicas 6:18).

Deus através do nosso Senhor Jesus, nos mostra onde realmente é a sua habitação. Não um santuário, algo estático, parado... mas sim o nosso corpo!!!

Quero que você preste muita atenção nas próximas palavras:

·         O Senhor nos constituiu casa espiritual:

“Vós também, como pedras vivas, sois edificados casa espiritual e sacerdócio santo, para oferecer sacrifícios espirituais agradáveis a Deus por Jesus Cristo.” (1 Pedro 2:5)

·         O Senhor nos constituiu santuário de Deus:

“Não sabeis vós que sois o templo de Deus e que o Espírito de Deus habita em vós? Se alguém destruir o templo de Deus, Deus o destruirá; porque o templo de Deus, que sois vós, é santo.” (1 Coríntios 3:16-17)

·         O Senhor nos constituiu casa de oração:

“E disse-lhes: Está escrito: A minha casa será chamada casa de oração” (Mateus 21:13a).

Sente a importância de ser feito à imagem do Senhor? Olhe bem o que você está fazendo com seu corpo. Ele tem que ser dedicado ao Senhor. (Efésios 2:21; Romanos 12:1-2).

"Do you feel the importance of being made in the image of God?"

         I read the following question today: “Do you feel the importance of being made in the image of God?

            I began to wonder what is being made in the image of God. I remembered what the Bible says “Let us make man in our image, in our likeness” (Genesis 1:26 – NIV), and so God did.

            I realized the Lord’s plan, wanting to show the man the importance of housing. In the Bible we see the richness of detail and perfection of their habitation: the tabernacle.

            The glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle, and the Lord showed Moses the richness in detail where he lives – a rich sanctuary for their presence. The ark, the mercy-seat, table, chandelier, curtains, and the covering of fur, the veil of the columns, the lobby, the altar, the tools, but everything was perfect!

            We can then say that Solomon built the temple, God was intended to show his people that his home was not a tent, a tabernacle, a temple, something holy to him, something still, something stopped (see 2 Chronicles 6:18).

            God through our Lord Jesus shows us where your home really is. Not a shrine, something satic, stationary… nut our bodies!

           

            I want you to pay close attention to the next words:

·         The Lord made us spiritual home:

"You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ." (1 Peter 2:5 - NIV)

·         The Lord made us a temple of God:

“Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit lives in you? If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy him; for God’s temple is sacred, and you are that temple” (1 Corinthians 3:16-17 - NIV)

·         The Lord made us a house of prayer:

“It is written,” he said to them, “My house will be called a house of prayer” (Matthew 21:13a – NIV)

            Do you feel the importance of being made in the image of God? Look well what are you doing with your body, He has to be dedicated to the Lord (Ephesians 2:21, Romans 12:1-2).
